Momma Dee is my mother. I was inspired to start catering because of her. My mom took sick In 2011. She Battled Breast Cancer. While taking care of my mom in a nursing facility, she told me to write down all of her recipes. I didn’t understand why at the time, because I really was against it. It almost felt like she was prepping me for her exit.
I was obedient and wrote down everything she told me. My mom left the most important for last. That was her Special BBQ SEASONING RECIPE. She told me to hold it dear to my heart because it was going to be my treasure.

My Mom (Momma Dee) won her battle and was promoted to heaven in 2014. I fell into a dark place and didn’t know how I was going to make ends meet. I went to that special recipe book and start cooking for family and close friends. I then start selling dinners.
I knew that was my passion at that point because I enjoyed how it made me feel while cooking. It always feel like she’s the closes to me while I’m in the kitchen cooking her recipes.
I held on to that special word, “TREASURE”.
I received compliment after compliment. I started catering for family and friends. I knew then that’s what my mother was preparing me for. That was my inspiration to continue to follow my passion and now dream!
